Piramal Foundation

The Piramal Foundation was established in 2006, serves as the philanthropic arm of the Piramal Group, focusing on addressing critical social challenges in India. Guided by the philosophy of "Doing Well and Doing Good," the foundation operates across key areas such as healthcare, education, water, and women’s empowerment.


Under the leadership of Dr. Swati Piramal as Vice-Chairperson of the Piramal Group and CEO Vijay Tambi, the foundation has significantly impacted underserved communities. Through innovative partnerships with governments, NGOs, and other stakeholders, the foundation has reached over 100 million lives across 27 states in India, driving systemic change and sustainable solutions.


With initiatives such as Piramal Swasthya for healthcare, Piramal Sarvajal for clean water access, and the Piramal School of Leadership for education, the foundation continues to empower communities and contribute to a more equitable and sustainable future.
